NEW DELHI: A SpiceJet Boeing 737 winging its way from Kolkata to Mumbai on Wednesday returned safely to the origin airport after its windshield cracked. A SpiceJet spokesperson said: “Wednesday (Sept 20), SpiceJet B737 aircraft was operating SG-515 sector (Kolkata-Mumbai. While cruising, right forward windshield cracked. Pressurisation was normal. Captain decided to land back in Kolkata. All flight parameters were normal. The aircraft landed safely at Kolkata. The aircraft made a normal landing and not an emergency landing.”
